Company History
Operating since 1999, LabOne has amassed an enviable track-record of pioneering and delivering business systems to digital media-centric customers. LabOne enhances it’s Digital Media Acquisition toolset with importers for all Major Labels exporting formats (Sony/BMG, EMI, Warner, Universal) and Orchard (leader independent digital music provider), enabling customers to quickly access music assets of up to 1 million tracks already digitally processed by record labels.
LabOne deploys its Media-Ibox platform to support webcasting of the XX Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy.

Italian public owned TV RAI chooses Media-iBox platform to deliver multimedia content for 2006 Torino Olympic Games. Project included geo-filtering to prevent users from outside Italian territory to connect to streaming servers, in partnership with worldwide leader in geo-location solutions Quova (www.quova.com).

Brazil’s iG launches next generation of it’s multimedia portal (iG MegaPlayer), with a full features AJAX based interface and community features aligned to Web 2.0 trends.
LabOne launches in its third music store this time in Argentina with ZapMusica and Fibertel (www.zapmusic.com).

LabOne launches it’s next generation Digital Signage solution, including enhanced web integration and support for external content feeds based on open RSS2.0 standard.
LabOne becomes the sole provider of Digital media technology for IG, a Brazil Telecom company, the second largest media portal in Brazil.

LabOne licenses its first IPTV business customer in Brazil, to manage and distribute advertising over 68 giant screens in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Eletromidia.

LabOne’s Media-iBox is used to manage content distribution and optimization for the Papal Funerals in Italy. Up to 5 terabytes of Video traffic in 24 hours through Media-iBox platform.

With flying colors, LabOne is passes due diligence processes with EMI, Universal Music and Warner Music to become the first technology company authorized to apply digital protection technology to the commercialization of online music in Latin America.
